I don't see Buyer's Fatigue in our area ... but just wish the Sellers would see this window of opportunity to get motivated buyers in their homes now.

I wouldn't call it buyer fatique. Higher prices and rising interest rates always affects the number of buyers that can qualify to purchase.

We are seeing a change in our market with an increase in inventory and a reduction in sales from the same time a year ago. This is a first in 8 years. I believe it is a combination of higher interest rates, inflated prices and a slowdown in sales in our feeder markets.

Fatigue? No. But o doubt it is making it more difficult for some buyers because of the loss in buying power, along with rising prices. Demand still seems pretty strong.

As rates rise it will give us less qualified buyers, or they will be looking at buying less for their money... yet, it's always been that way. No panic over 5%, after all, it's a far cry from 18.5%...

It impacts the amount that they qualify to buy but, I haven't had any experience that just yet but, have heard of other agents having this happen.
If they're serious buyers, we just tweak their search parameters.

No. Actually, we are seeing more buyers re-enter the market now that houses are staying on the market for a couple weeks rather than a couple hours. Yes, interest rates are going to effect buyers, but it hasn’t hit fatigue levels yet here.

Our market has slowed, but it has been such a frenzy for the last 6 years, it was time.

Most of SoCal is seeing this. California is predicting a 3.7% drop in sales this year and a 3.9% drop next year.

The interest rates are peanuts compared to the big tax increases we have here. It's ironic that Trump is persona non grata in his home state, especially in NYC metro area. It's even more ironic that his properties and anything w/ his name on it have declined even more. People who live in those buildings are embarrassed to say where they live. And, I believe golf course membership has declined here. That may be different in other parts of the country.
3,590,541
No not at all......humming along Seriously our rates are still low as compared to years ago. We used to think anything under 10 was good!
5,245,340
Too much being made of so little. Remember when rates weere approaching 20% and real estate slowed a bit!
