Lack of education.. This should be aminimum 1 year apprenticeship and additional mandatory real world classes.
A new agent needs to know the timelines of the transactions and the repercussions when timelines arent met.
Many of the new agents have no clue and little to no supervision..
This affects all of us, not only in having to help educate them when we are in a transaction, but also the public, as they deserve more

The predation of agents....

by other agents....

by their brokers and their 'pass it on' junk fees.....

proliferation of referral enterprises not qualified to receive referrals fees....

The profession AS A WHOLE accepting misrepresentation, deception, false data, stolen intellectual property as business as normal and the cowardice that concedes nothing can be done.

And this is perpetrated by the veterans, not the newbies. So, bring on the newbies and maybe change can occur.

REMINDER: this is about the INDUSTRY, not the agent.

we're listing agents and our greatest "pet peeve" is when we are delivered an offer from a buyer's agent who is known for dropping the ball.... we represent the seller but we are forced to deal directly with the buyer....that buyer has no representation!!
