NEXT door. 

That is happened to me last month. Did not get the listing (I could not believe it, but that happened), made an offer for it and it was excepted  - I was running faster,

and on the top I got 3 more listings for sale out of blue.

Go figure!

Yes, we had a listing with an elderly seller who I believe listed for companionship more than a real intent to sell; as indicated by the houses active status years later. Anyway, she had a sister down the street who she told us needed to list her home. We contacted her, listed her & had her sold in a couple months. Sometimes it works out that way.

I had been working on a new construction project for 5 years, it recently fell through when the town added more restrictions and costs and would not allow them to add lots to cover said costs. They sold it to an apartment developer and al those future listings went poof.
