I just pay a few dollars and buy photos.  It's not worth the time for me to hunt for free to use.

Many times I use Google Images or I just do a google search

I use a marketing company for some stuff. If I need photos, they get them for me for my business use....  they also have their own collection I understand.

Google.

FREE to use....has more than one meaning.

Usually it means 'free to use' for personal use or 'free to use' if you love that shutterbug watermark.

Then there is the limitation on business use.

Then there is the limitation on commercial use.

Then there is the limitation on the image format being inappropriate in format or size to accomplish the intended purpose.

I have found that simply plunking down the dollars for the shiny thing makes my life easier. So, I look for providers that publish multiple formats (EPS, VCT, PNG, AI) and accompanying differential maps.

For ordinary picts, I find the library that comes with the editors to be more than sufficient. Then of course my Canon 80D easily fills in the voids.

Be aware, if you don't have robust security software, downloading FREE stuff may not be without cost in the end.

I use Pixabay and my own photos.

Generally use my own, but I will check Google images.

      When using those "free image" photo sites, take a screen shot and paste that your page.  If you direct link to the site, you may get source code and backlinks planted onto your page.  And/or their site could go down and the photo goes poof.  Or, they could change to a payment site and your images will be held hostage for ransom (like what happened with Photoshop). 

       If "taking a screen shot" violates that site's EULA or TOS, then skip that site and find another one.

Shoot your own that is custom made and labeled for your local area... we all take images in our job. Carry those cameras and leave the safety off for collection of all the free to use photography that is germane to your area where you are the local expert, cub reporter.

I have bought a couple photos... however, I usually take whatever photos I need for what I'm doing...

I use my own photos and create my own graphics and framed texts.

We either take our own pictures for our posts if applicable.  We also use wikipedia only if the photos are in the public domain. Otherwise, we buy our photos from dreamstime.com.  They are affordable, and they also have video cuts that we have bought.  A

Another really good one with FREE high-end photos is Unsplash. Have you heard of it or tried it?

I do my own as often as I can.

I use several free ones from time to time but perfer to use a subscription with Clipart that's affordable.

I do not use usually. Most of images are mine or used with the source reference. 

Dana Hollish Hill - I have subscribed to PresenterMedia - excellent deal and great pictures.

I take them, I create them or I use clip art that I have commercial rights to that I purchased more than 30 years ago.

Morgue file, my archives.

I use alot of my own, DreamsTime.com and pay for photos on Stencil.com

my wife owns a tone of clip art from her former career of graphic artist.  She scanned it, we use it.

My Nikon is my source.
