Oh, that's interesting, Elizabeth! I wondered if suddenly my outside blog had gone away but, it's still there. It took almost 2 minutes to load though!

I wonder if Bob Stewart can shed some light on the outside blogs.

   The outside blog appears to be using Http, not Https.  Maybe that is what's causing the slow page load time.

Sorry to hear this, it may be best to just abandon the outside blog and focus more on the actual AR blog.

I personally do not think it is even working anymore. I haven't even renewed my domains which might be a problem in your case.

You can choose not to put it outside which is what I've done for years now.

You put the lime in the coconut and drink it all up...that's all you can do at this point.

Great question, Elizabeth. I tried with Chrome, and I am still waiting for it to open. Sounds like a questions for the technical staff at AR.

If it's not SSL encrypted you should be able to add a manual exception for the site to the browser.  The process varies by browser.

The outside AR blogs have been down for years. The link back to outside blogs are just very slow today, all of AR is though.

I would try an older browser - G no longer likes http as it prefers https: which may be why chrome isn't working - FF should work though perhaps its just loading slowly?

I checked mine.  IT does open in Chrome.  Just takes a while.

I think that can be caused by your anti virus software. I'd try checking those settings or disable it temporarily and see if that helps. Could also be related to https conversion.

Is there someone in charge at AR? Sorry, the following is off message, but I just added some comments to my question of yesterday after AR took $99 out of my bank account since I don't quite have 500,000 points in my CALIFORNIA account. My HAWAII one does so is free. But even FREE means spending time here on AR to FEED IT CONTENT but I truly think it's a waste of time. In order to get VIEWS besides from our usual followers, who gets FEATURED? Same handful of people. Not that I am not happy for them, but it doesn't help me to get motivated to write more for the possibility of more views. To get 3 or 4 comments by my friends... sorry, I'd rather go to FACEBOOK and get lots of comments by my friends and it doesn't take a massive amount of time. OK, ask me how I REALLY feel!

I do not know Elizabeth.  I stopped posting to my outside blog a long time ago when the formatting wonked out.  My sense is that in time, they will become a thing of the past.

I read long ago that it was not functional any longer...

My outside blog disappeared ages ago and I wasn't sorry. It never looked quite right. I thought this option had basically disappeared.

Hi Elizabeth!  I searched AR re: Outside Blogs, and your post popped up.  I'm having an issue with my outside blogs... I sent 2 messages to AR, and left a vm for Bob Stewart... no response.  After reading this thread, I googled your outside blog (LandParkBlog) on Chrome, Safari & IE... and got an error message "the server couldn't be found."  Hmmm.  Did AR dump the server for Outside Blogs?   

No help here, dropped that outside blog years ago.

totally bummed about this.  Bob Stewart help.  And can we get an RSS feed back too. Purty Please.
