I am not motivated to become a real estate agent anymore because I already am licensed.

As a real estate investor for a decade, I realized that a lot of Realtors didn't know how to work with investors. So, I became licensed. Ironically, I work with more first time buyers than investors. They're more fun. 

     I don't remember.

I lost all motivation for real estate. Why? Just don't care anymore.

Just when I thought this question could not be asked in a more stupid way than it has a thousand times before. First of all it would have been what motivated me, not motivates me to become. Secondly, if you receive the answer of motivation, therein lies the why. Better study hard and stay off ActiveRain until you pass the State exam, that is IF you do.

MONEY.

I was a teacher, and they had too many vacations FOR ME!!  

and once I had a taste of the money that could be made, it was no brainer.... I like the money...I'll say it...

also, some people are fine to work with and others are a PITA.... and that's putting it nicely.... so it's never because I like people.... you'll have days when you hate them... 

I came from lending.  After 15 years in that I wanted a change.

INDEPENDENCE

I have been a real estate broker for 25 years... nothing motivates me to become one at this stage. In fact, some days I wonder if I haven't totally lost my marbles by staying one.

Tired of the corporate world.

It was the last time I would reinvent myself ....working for corporate America was not working for me. If I was going to work 15 hours a day it would be for my benefit, not a Fortune 100 company.  

I like being my own boss. More fun than the corporate world.

Not the salary or benefits, thats fo'sure.

What motivated me was entrepreneurship and earning a better living than a musicians pay, when my son was born.

We need to work, isn't it? And then you start falling in love with it.
