Install the pinterest browser button and it becomes very easy to pin

Pinterest has an add-on for your browser to do that.

Pinterest isn't my thing Dave but when all this is said and done you're going to be like the authority on all of these subjects!

Any photo can be pinned so ?? FB will just not allow it & some other sites are the same. All our posts are pinnable.

You have to load the program or the add-on to get it done.

I believe there are browser extensions if you're asking about Pinterest.

David, I think it depends on type of website.  As others have mentioned if the reader is a big Pinterest fan, they may have installed a Pinterest button on their browser.

If you're talking about a Wordpress site, there seem to be various plugins that can be installed on your site that create the "pin" option when someone hovers over your photos.  See link:  https://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/pinterest/

Not sure quite what you are asking. I pin to my Pinterest account all the time from here and other place with a click of the mouse.

Just add a social media sharing plugin. There are tons out there.

The best one is Social warfare, but there is a small cost.  This best because you can customize which pin/pins can be shared/which can't and the alt text to be used...as well as use for other social media.  It's also best because it uses the least amount of resources.  Most social media plugins really slow down your site, and this one has the least impact on site speed.

I haven't done Pinterest in a very long time....

The only thing I know is that they prefer horizontal photo's Dave Martin (703) 585-4687 so I'm parked and looking for other tips.

I had an extension on FireFox to allow for pinning of images.  I think it was called Pin-it or something to that effect.

I have the pin on my browser but I do not use it.  You have the answer you are looking for here in the comments.

Sorry, don't really do much on Pinterest.

I use a plu-in on my Wordpress site, Hover Pin It, or something like that. Every image pretty much can be pinned. Very effective, and driving a lot of traffic to it.
