Through a brokerage referral,  I have if asked.

I refer them to 3 different movers that previous clients or I (personally) have used and were thrilled with. I always have them report back to me about their experience.

we have two or three local movers we recommend....they can call and compare...

I have not Ellie McIntire because I do not know any of the owners anymore. Employees come and go and like any business those employees may or may not be trustworthy.

I will offer referrals - always more than one for fencing, concrete and movers. It's up to the client to contact them, check pricing and make the choice.

I have only for clients that are moving here from the same city I use to live in. Otherwise I do not.

I NEVER refer a client to a national mover. 

Why?

They ALL have a license to pillage and plunder at the scale. When such movers have solicited my referral business, I think of my clients and ask the mover if they will GUARANTEE their weight estimate to be within 15%.  They evaporate.

It is easy to be the low cost mover when they know the robbery will take place in a state far away with some persons possession held hostage.

Local movers will provide such assurances. Local moves know you can reach out and touch them.

Last week our moving company hired new people - they stole somebody furniture from the building... Can you believe it? 

We were working with this company over 10 years...

There are a couple out here, but I've never used them myself, I've only interacted with them at networking events.  They are veteran owned and run and everyone I've talked to there is super squared away and dialed in.  But it always comes with the "I've never used them" caveat.

Have not had good luck with moving companies, and do not have a good one to refer right now.

I give them 2 or 3 options to interview for themselves.

Our Team has a couple of box trucks that we make available to many of our clients.

When asked, I will refer IF I have a good and reliable resource.  It depends on if the need is for a local move or distant move.
