My birthday is on New Year's Eve, so it is highly unlikely that I will be working on my birthday. 🍾
However, it is also the last day of the year, and many deals must be closed by then.
So, it may be a very festive work day, but it can very well be a work day for me.

Sure... it's not like most of the world cares much about my birthday!

Most years no.  But, it's on New Years Day.

No, my birthday is a National Holiday, so I'm always off and Grand Marshall at my parade.

I work harder on my birthday.... the anniversary of being one year older??? my days are numbered....

Usually yes, I work on my birthday. 

I have many times.  The past 3-4 years ... NO. 

Moving forward ... most likely not.  

In my world, my life, the way I plan, the way I execute, there is never a reason to "have to work" on bu Birthday or any other day I decide to take the day and smell the roses or go to the beach, chill and read ... you get the idea.

It's just another day to me, and I gave up celebrating them many years ago.. and I don't think anyone else would care if it was my birthday if there was a deal to be made.

Retirement doesn't require that... so NO.

Yes, but it's so close to Christmas that the only business is usually existing business.

I have worked on many of my birthdays. They have not yet been designated as a holiday.

Although, on Wayne's 50th birthday, I surprised him at his BNI meeting and kidnapped him for the day. I even stole his phone so he couldn't make any business calls. Best day ever!

If the occasion arises, yes!

I'm typically enjoying Cape Cod on my birthday & keep work to a minimum.  IF I HAVE TO engage, we start the conversation with "wish me a happy birthday".   That typically makes for some fun and then shortens business.  I'm a firm believer that birthdays are not just another day and should be celebrated.

Absolutely! I am always available to my clients. Having said that, I also work /answer my phone when I'm on the beach in Hawaii, play tennis (yep, I have my phone on my hip), or have lunch or dinner with friends. With smart phones, I don't feel comfortable NOT keeping an eye on the work ball.

Nope!  I work ofren and I am almost always accessible, but my birthday is all for me.

I have before. And will work if I don't have anything amazing planned. But of course always check in with my clients and if they need anything when I am unavailble, I will make sure I have someone around who can help.

Just another day for me, I have had a lot of birthdays.

I have worked on everyday of the year including my birthday, Christmas, Easter, 4th of July, Anniversary and even the Superbowl at one time or another.  I just ask myself; "Celebrate my Birthday or Make $15,000?"  Sure can get myself a great gift so the answer is quite ease. 

I have worked on many birthdays. If I can take the day off I will. 

Yes, just another day in the real world.

In the morning, yes, I work. Lunch is alway with the family. Every my birthday I celebrated with mom and dad, always was thinking, what if... Last one was without Dad...

Yes, and did an inspection on my birthday a few years ago, and my buyer bought me a beautiful rose bush.   He said - now you cannot say I don't give you roses every year for your special day.  Was too sweet.

I don't specifically take it off, but I do sometimes.  This past year I worked.

Depends what day of the week it is.  Typically, I work, at least some, every day.  I don't make it a point to take off for my birthday.

My wife gets mad at me but I do!

I do not work on my birthday when I am in the City of Lights.

To date, there has never been a concurrence of my birthday and my presence in Paris.

Only when I have clients, or need clients or am trying to find clients. Yes, I work on my birthday. 

Not this year...my birthday was yesterday (Saturday) and I was able to take the day off. Best present ever!
