We live in a very diverse market and many real estate prospects are from other countries. Multiple languages are spoken by many agents in the offices of RE/MAX Realty Group in Gaithersburg, MD.

I do investment real estate sales for people outside the US. Cash of course is easy, financing is a bit more difficult with many hoops to jump through, and the rtrquirement that you have to go to a US Embassy to get an American notary. It is expensive to do that and limited on when it can be done.

We have worked with numerous clients who were born and grew up outside the U.S. That describes a large percentage of the S.F Bay Area. We have also worked with off-shore clients. Always an interesting experience and an opportunity to grow in our profession.

No.  All clients are locally based.  The bus tours of Chinese buyers (I'm not kidding either) stopped a couple years ago.  We don't target foreigners and I block them from my website (I got tired of the hacking attempts).
