Doesn't surprise me.  I regularly do business for people leaving CA.  Problem is, many states are following CA in becoming overly burdensome on citizens.

Too many taxes, too many regulations.  Personally, I don't want a home with solar, I don't want the government monitoring how many gallons/day my household is using with penalties for going over, etc.  California is out of control.

        Californians who are fleeing because of the destructive politics that created the homelessness and crime rate are welcome.  Those CA's who vote for Jerry Brown and Nancy Pelosi et al should stay right there.

I am not that sure polls are accurate, it depends on who wants to support their position for this article.  We have friends and clients who live in the Bay Area, and I have not heard this from them.  A

We have a lot of Californians moving our way and they don't look back either!

That would mean 20 million or so are hot to leave. There will be lots of listings to satisfy all the hungry buyers.

I'm working with two different clients relocating from California. Fewer tax-paying Californians means those who remain will pay even higher taxes.

Many have moved to the DC Metro Area.

That a shame.

These 'californians' will inevitably bring their twisted thinking to new locations who don't want them. 

The California exodus should be treated as a toxic spill and confinement should be imposed.

Next time you think about leaving take a ride up the coastline from Malibu to Monterrey...  WOW.

I will never forget the trip we took a few years ago.  The views across the ocean!  The sparkling light.  The clean environment.  We marveled at Santa Barbara and these amazing hills further north.  We first stopped in a resort hotel on the craggy outlook in the middle of the day.  The sun was clear, the temperature perfect, the humidity negligible.  We walked into a reception and bar area that looked like it had been preserved from the 50s and I was so intoxicated with the atmospherics that I fully expected the Rat Pack to show up and start a show!!

We wove up that Pacific Coast Hwy 1 and ended up at the Whale Inn.  What an adventure.  We got into our room about 8 and walked down some tall wooden stairs to the beach and watched the setting sun. Driftwood, sparkling light through the waves. Then went up to the cabin again and relaxed and looked for a TV set.  No TV.  I needed to make a phone call as my cell was out of reach of a tower.  No phone.  The whole idea was to get away from the hustle/bustle and get in touch with yourself, nature, the person you were with.  No distractions allowed.

There was a guest book on the small table.  We saw Lucille Ball's name!! Ohmigosh!! 

The rest of the trip was magical ending in San Fran.  On the way we sat on Pebble Beach for another unforgettable sunset.

All I can say is Denver is a great placeto live and I take good care of referrals.

With the housing prices, I can understand.

Gotta hurry  up and make that move before it falls into the ocean...
