none I know and my lender I use for VA doesn't even do construction loans period, they farm those out to a different bank.

Jim Paulson one of my agents was going to meet with a lender this week for this very thing but then they ended up finding an existing home. I'll find out who he was going to meet with.

There are several lenders here on A R that might be able to help you.

Can do in California and really like to keep construction where I can drive to solve those likely disagreements about change requests. In Boise or where? I will get you a name. Construction lending is a marriage with the lender best not a long distance relationship.

 Our office in Boise can't do it,  I called Zions and Flagstar, no answer back yet

 Jim Paulson ... this is not something that I have done here in Illinois, let alone speak to Idaho practices.  I applaud your effort to assist your veteran and keep expenses down for them.  Depending on your veteran's position (owning the land outright/VS needing to purchase the land along with the new construction), this can be a very challenging transaction and financing.  I hope you share your experiences moving forward ... and let us know your search results.  Best of Luck,
