OMG yes, Buffini & Company
I've been coaching with them 12 of the 19 years I've been with them. I couldn't afford the coaching in the beginning, so I worked towards it but attending their smaller trainings and larger events like Turning Point, Success Tour, Master Mind, Peak Producers and Peak Experience.
Some don't need a coach, many do but are in denial and then there's guys like Magic Johnson, Tom Brady and me, that just know I'm better when we don't go it alone...we get coached.

I've known people who've done well with Mike Ferry coaching back in the day. At the end of the day, you need to do what they tell you to and you need a coaching program that fits you.

I joined a team and was mentored by a high volume agent early in my career and I credit that experience to my success today. So I know it will work.
But the key to being coached or mentored is that first you have to accept and agree that you follow their lead. Most agents cannot stay committed long enough to make it work. Same way with advertising.
I would be happy to share with any agent not in my service area exactly what I do, what I spend, where I spend it and what my production is based on my business plan and budget. But I wll bet you a steak dinner at the finest restraurant in the USA that they would not do it.

Coaches, mentors, guides, are important in every industry. Trade schools principals were built on the premises for the wise and or experienced to pass along what they knew and learned that had value and saved time. Yes to this

I have mixed feelings about coaching. Coaches can certainly give you great ideas, but really, it's just paying for someone to hold you accountable for many of the things you already know you should be doing.
I'm a fan overall, but don't think it's necessary for everyone.

I do the self-directed coaching as they call it in the Buffini system (which means I follow their systems without paying for a one-on-one coach). I've never had great success with one-on-one coaching... I found that typically I knew more than the coach.... and was always frustrated that most them had a singular focus that didn't always mesh with my personal objectives.

Lots of agents use Buffini and love the program. I bought it for my agents at my old brokerage and agents that committed and are using a coach are still doing great with the system, many more than doubling their businesses.
I personally subscribe to 1-on-1 coaching with The CORE and have turned my "stay-at-home mom job" into a business. It's expensive but, paid for a year of coaching in a couple of months and has continued to pay dividends for years now.

There are many types of coaching program, sales training, personal and business coaching. All are very expensive. I had a business coach once and it was over $20,000 for a year. You could talk with Peter Mohylsky as he works as a real estate coach. He could answer your questions.

There are many quality coaching programs. Number 1 requirement is that you have to be willing to be coached. You have to be accountable to your coach and to your own improvement. Easier said than done. Buffini, Tom Ferry, numerous Keller Williams programs, and many others.

Agents that are not disciplined benefit from coaching. In my experience, as a Manager and Agent, it helps some who need to be held accountable. Coaching helps keep your eye on the ball and laser focused.

A little. Some people are coachable, others aren't. You just have to do some research, and maybe some trials and comparing. Floyd Wickman, Mclean International, Buffini, Ferry, etc. all offer some form of coaching.

Coaching is always a great way to go and a good investment if you need outside motivation. There are many ways to learn and get motivated. Personally, it has been a joy doing it myself, learning from others and attending real estate events. I am self driven and highly motivated to be successful.

I paid thousands of dollars for "coaching" when I first started in the business. It was highly ineffective because I was unwilling to be a clown in the circus. I found my way without paying someone thousands of dollars a month to make phone calls, knock on doors and beg for business, stop by clients house with silly gifts and before I leave, say, Oh, by the way, do you know anyone ..... Either you KNOW you need coaching or you are tepid about it and the outcome will be proportional.

I've tried a few coaching programs over the years, both Real Estate related and otherwise. While I've learned from all, I've not found anything that I wanted to continue with after the initial program/ offering.
