I learned long ago, listing leads are from offline marketing...specifically, direct mail postcards for me.... I complement that with a full page of newspaper marketing once a month....  I began incorporating online marketing in 2009 when I joined ActiveRain... prior to that, I did not know what a blog was....when you need to jump in, you just take a leap off the board and never miss a beat.... you learn from doing....from 2009, my various blogging sites complement my offline marketing....

Tim, I keep in touch with my sphere and the vast majority of my business is repeat/referral business. Farming is another way to supplement listings from my sphere and I am religious about sending those out too.
