Could be the President is in town or someone violated a no-fly zone.  We had the same thing happen out here during an Hillary fundraiser Obama spoke at.  Someone in a prop job got inside the no-fly zone and the F-15 fully loaded was dispatched from the Navy base out here.  Flew like a bat out of hell and circled the area with it's burners on.

Hmmm! Interesting. We have all kinds of weird things flying over us out here. Black helicopter shiz . . . please follow up when you find out

Last time I saw jets circling my area it was 9/11.

Training flights or just a huge loop over Mar a Lago? Commercial flights get diverted far out over the ocean when president in residence there.

They are looking for you Fred. Keep your head down, a low profile. A sidewinder missile into your house probably would not be covered by your home owners policy. When Loring AFB was in Limestone Maine the B-52's flying training runs below 500 feet was a little startling out walking a new farm property listing.

It will be interesting to hear/read what the NEWS eventually does report about it ... nothing I would likely believe to be the truth.

Interesting.  We have Vanderberg Air Force Base in SB County, and all is quiet on the Western front.  I think Ryan Huggins - Thousand Oaks, CA may have the answer of someone in a no-fly zone.

In Napa we lived close to Travis Air Force Base, and the day after 9/11, they were the only jets flying.  It was eerie!  A

In my area it would be an Air Show. Of course, bombs are not on those planes. Let's hope they just had to accompany an airliner.

Patrick Air Force Base is a few miles down the road from us and occasionally we have similar things happen. If it is the end of the the month (like today) it usually means the pilots have to get the remainder of their mandatory flight hours in.

Other times we have actually called PAFB to ask if we should be concerned and shortly after the air traffic and noise ended. Maybe it was a practice flight?

I am close to Buckley AFB, and we have fighter jets overhead on occasion too, trial runs.

If I get the opportunity to know when President Trump is flying into WPB we see them a lot, usually 3 at various distances around Air Force 1. Yep, they are loud as hell albeit somewhat comforting to see.

Could be a warm up session for Sun 'n Fun Fly-In April 10th to 15th in Lakeland. Always a great military presence there.
