Yes, we have a typewriter in a work room and I have seen agents use it.

Missed opportunity,  Paul.  I don't recall seeing a typewriter in any of my offices this century. 

No, but I would love to get my hands on one, for old times sake.  

If we still have one then I have no idea where it is hidden, it has been a long time since we have used one.

I haven't even SEEN one in years. At one point I thought I might keep a Selectric around for envelopes. But if I send out 2 or 3 a month, it's a lot and it's easier to hand write.

No typewriter, fax or pagers allowed in our office.

I don't know that I've seen one in the office. There is certainly not one in my home office.

The last time I used one was over 15 years ago for bond loan documents that STILL needed to by typed on triplicate paper. My mom has one as a decoration like the photo Bob posted, so I have seen one recently. 

No - but I recently spoke with someone who does legal work who said they have gone back to using IBM Selectric's for very sensitive documents.  My first job in College was working in the factory where they made those and the first typewriter that had memory in it that everyone thought was amazing at the time.  It would hold up to 100 letters that could be typed automatically - we've come a long way in a short time - or I'm old - maybe both.

Have not seen a typewriter in many years. Threw one out over twenty years ago.

There are times when I wouldn't mind having one but for as often as I'd use it, it's not worth the space it would take up.

We actually still have one & they won't throw it out. I'll take a pic for you Paul. I don't know if it works or not.

I haven't seen one in a while. Our title company still had one around but I don't know if they still use it.

I must say i stil have one tucked away as there are forms that reuire sometihng typed in a specific area that can not be just scanned and typed into cleanly, although dot loop is helping with that

No. But, when my grandmother passed away, I brought hers to my house. Something so pleasing about the sound of a typewriter.

My parents were cleaning out a closet and found my old typewriter. Not sure what I am going to do with it yet.

My millennial daughter had a blast on it though.

On a side note: I learned to type on a manual typewriter. I still remember the bell that signaled that the carrage was nearing the stopping point and haveing to hit the return lever.

Not at my office.  My folks still have one at their office.  Growing up I had the old briefcase typewritter.  Man that was heavy!

Paul ~ Every office I have worked in has had a couple in the bullpen and there is one particular agent in my current office that uses it on almost a daily basis.

yes, we have one at the office that still gets used occasionally. Just last week I had a BMV form that needed to be completed to transfer vehicle title from my deceased brother.
