I know I've changed my listing photo protocol.  I hire professional photographers.  And I feature those photos on blog posts.  Photos matter most.

I am in agreement with both William Feela and Chris Ann Cleland .  Photos matter, especially on the high end.  People would look through pictures in their own time frame rather than be dicatated to with video or 3D, etc.  Videos are good for community posts.  A

I would also add that a good brand strategy is of paramount importance, because it is what Zillow and company cannot do.  A

Drone shots, professional photos, video tours and extensive SEO on the side.

The eye buys.

The agent needs to understand the dynamics and attact prospects to search on the agent website.

I have always been a fan of professional photos. The more expensive the house, the more professional the professional photographer!

Photos are something I've known people want for almost two decades now... there's a reason all my listings are professionally photographed and anywhere my homes show up on the web, it's with a multitude of photos... and I've been following this process for almost two decades now, as well.

Agents will continue to do what they are sold to do.  Photos are important.  

My focus is on my business and real estate practice.

I don't allow my listings on the MLS to be allowed to anyone else.  When I take photo's I make sure I spend a bit of time to get them as good as possible.  I may take 100 of a nice home

Professional photos are an absolute must.

Either get a better camera or hire a Pro.

It doesn't really concern me.

I made a commitment last year to only use a professional photographer.  It works.  We need to engage the buyer from the start...  Good pictures make that happen -- but not before the property is properly prepared for "picture day".
