A good question that you should get very good answers to from the group:
What do you feel was the best thing about how we handled your transaction?
How did our service compare with services you received in the past?
Why?
Would you be willing to recommend our company to friends family colleagues looking to buy or sell in the future?

Jordan,
I am with Nina Hollander on this. The whole concept of video taping someone giving a testimonial invites in our super humble opinion a bit of artifice on both sides of the camera.
We ask for written testimonials, and each one of our has differed based on what our services meant to them. All the best in your shoot. A

I've never done this... for me it seems a bit forced. I just do videos of unsolicited client testimonials. But Candice A. Donofrio has provided you some great suggestions.

Jordan Ayan What was your selling/buying experience working with XYZ Realty? How did XYZ Realty fulfill their commitment to get your home sold? How did XYZ Realty fulfill their commitment to insure a smooth buying experience. Would you recommend XYZ Realty to your friends and neighbors? Ask open ended questions to insure a response other than a yes or no.

Give them the questions in advance, just like if you were appearing on a TV show. That way they won't have "duh" moments or long pauses while they think about the question.
Did you find what you were looking for, or sell your house? Did Jordan help you accomplish your objective? What did Jordan do that went above and beyond? Will you use Jordan in your next real estate purchase, or sale? Would you recommend Jordan to someone buying or selling a lot or a house? What else do you want to say about working with Jordan on the purchase or sale of your lot or house?

Not sure if I am a fan of video testimonials. Maybe because I have not done any?

Really, if they are giving a testimonial, I want it genuine and not full of leading questions

In a video people might feel pressured. If you asked "leading" questions, it might have the appearance of being staged or scripted.

our testimonials are always in writing.... not everyone has that natural flavor with a video.... and they can be themselves hitting a keyboard....

Have asked clients to simply share what they enjoyed about the transaction and why?
3,432,576
I just let clients speak from their heart. If there was a particular issue that I handled that we can talk about publicly, I would ask about that.
1,539,754
I don't do videos, but if I did they would be more scripted than live. Only ask questions you know you'll get a good answer to.
- How did you find me?
- How did you like the process?
- Were there any problems?
- Did I keep you in the loop?
- Were you satisfied at the end?

Jordan,
Understand first who the video is for. Not for you or the one talking.
The video is for folks who haven't met you yet.
All of these 'not mets' have the same basic five questions.
However, you can not ask these questions of the subject, but their testimonial must include the answer to one question the viewer needs to ask but do not know this.
For example, lets be simple and basic.
The 'haven't met you yet' viewer really wants to know if you know your stuff or if you are a newbie charlatan. (the newbie needs to answer this question also but using different narrative) The interviewee should provide the answer to the question in a narrative that exhibits how your EXPERIENCE delivered a solution. (solutions are not letters appended to a name).
It might start with asking the speaker if they recall how they finally got hat house. Just tell the folks who will be watching how that worked out. Starting in 5, 4, 3, 2, ......
Example: "Jordan worked with Mike and me diligently for 3 months. We must have talked or messaged everyday. It was assuring to be connected every step of the way. The house I wanted appeared on the market and before we could see it, under contract. I was heartbroken. Jordan said 'Wait a minute. This isn't over." He investigated the type of financing the buyer had in place and knew we would be in the game if I was patient. As promised, the deal fell through and my backup was accepted. He's a miracle worker!"
Did the question "Does Jordan know his stuff?" get answered?
And, in the narrative the speaker also added you are a great communicator and encourager. That is icing on the cake.
Your goal should be to obtain the answer to ONE question at a time.
Instead of one person answering five questions have five people answer a different question.
Translated: Everyone WILL answer the five questions, but one at a time. You in essence get five testimonials from each one. You will find this highly engaging for those determining is you are their guy. More work? Yes. Better strategy? You bet.
Let the text in the video title present the question.
