I am interested in national/regional CRE info which I get through sources that would bore most agents to tears.
As far as news sources for residential real estate, local and hyperlocal information is all we really need to concern ourselves with. Almost all news sources are entertainment. They get their information from us.
Our stats, our deals.
Tune out the noise.

No credible sources of real estate news ... or any news for that matter.Every channel is a twisted drama where I am left wondering ... what is the real truth here and what are they trying to "sell" me.

Using the terms "credible" and "news" in the same sentence these days is an oxymoron.  There are no credible sources of news. 

Annette Lawrence , Palm Harbor, FL 727-420-4041 I don't think any of these are credible. The news media is biased and is only out to get a headline to attract viewers whether it is true or not. They are right up there with the NY Times and the Washington Post.

My board & then I verify that. I'm only talking real estate related.

Inman & NAR are a joke. Total fluff even though they want you to think otherwise.

I hate NPR... totally biased and stopped listening years ago. I would not put them on any list. Nothing new from NAR or Inman. I listened to BBC last year in Russia... British version of NPR now.

None of the above. I feel the best way to get creditable information without any bias or spin is to ask questions directly to people involved. Lenders, Title Companies always give me a straight answer and the information is useful and I don't look like a fool to my clients. 

I read five newspapers a day, watch selective news programs & various other sources all of which keep me current across the board about everything

I mostly only care about CA news and San Diego news, since the rest doesn't impact my business. CA tends to be the industry trend leader anyhow.

Wow, maybe #7, as for the rest very biased.

Read Inman moist days, articles that are of interest, not the majority and Ar every day.

I listen to much, believe a little. As far as RE goes, the only thing that matters to my pocket is local. Now national can predict local, so when a trend develops elsewhere, I have to look to see if it's coming my way & prepare, but if it's just a local phenomenon somewhere else, I don't get too excited. 

All have their pros and cons. We need to be alert to news (of all kinds) and filter through our mental processes.

real estate is local....and my first choice would be local sources.... 

National Enquirer, duh!  Didn't you see "Men in Black"?  The real news gets published there.

After them, I trust the BBC more than I do any news outlet in the states.

I follow the trends that I am entrenched in - local real estate. I can calculate with the best of the so-called 'analysts' and my data is raw & REAL!

That is what I share with my clients and my consumer.
