My first reaction is that they are idiots! And pretty much the same when I get a "the voice mail box is full" or a message that indicates a date that is weeks old. Can you imagine what their clients might think? Oh wait, they probably don't have clients!

That does not make for a favorable first impression. The other thing that annoys me is when you get the automated voicemail message "111-111-1111 is not available, please let a message at the tone". Seriously, you can't even personalize your voicemail message?

My first impression is this agent does not want to miss messages because of voice mail tag. Their business model compels other agent to CONFORM or move on (cause the agent has a extensive list not yet contacted).

The message to other agents is KEEP CALLING them or the other OBVIOUS point of contact.

This is a better message than "VOICE MAIL IS FULL!" That gives me the shivers.

But, as agents we all think if they don't do it our way (24/7, 365) they are doing it wrong. It is true, this agent may be a wreck, or simply has clarity  regarding their business mode.

I spent some time reading every response so far. This is been a signficant issue for me- as this is far too common in my market (NYC).  The level of professionalism is barely existant.  I am happy to read that so many others around the nation feel the same way that I do. When inventory is so limited as it has been, I often don't have many choices to show buyers alternatives and need to find a way to work with these agents- despite my opinion/concerns.  I often find myself, calling, emailing, texting these agents too many times and it wastes my time and their's.

I have the same impression as when I call someone and their vm box is FULL consistently... WTF.

I don't know how many messages it takes to FILL a vm box but I have had dozens of messages stored at one time and never had it fill John Juarez
