Most of our sellers send us their reviews via email or snail mail. We then post those to our websites and social media. 

We have a reviews plugin on our website where they can leave us a review on our site. However, people here don't do that. 

For my virtual services business, I get a ton of reviews in comments here in ActiveRain and a lot of agents leave them on Facebook biz page. I also get emails quite often. 

VIdeo reviews is the way to go! You can rank on Google page one for those! 

I have not used any system for this, really should though.

I have reviews on my website as well as on Zillow.

We just ask and they follow trough...no system

I send an email.  The review is then cut and pasted to my review page on my websites.

I don't request them, but when I did it was in an email or letter that I could post on my website and with their permission to use it anywhere else I chose.

My office sends out a survey to each client after closing from a third party company called Real Satisfied.  There is a short survey with some specific questions, and a space to write a testimonial.  I make sure to advise my clients (and remind them)  it will be coming via email and to watch for it.  I have never had a client refust to submit it...

tammy requests a testimonial be written on Z by each of her clients.... and she responds to each testimonial..... hiring a service to do that loses the personal touch!!!  do it the day of closing, after it closes.... if they're happy, they'll do it....

We use RealSatisfied to get reviews & then send them out to other outlets.

That is what the problem is, your clients get bored to death writing your reviews on 6 different venues.

Just ask for referrals when you are face to face with clients.

I don't request reviews... 90% of my clients write them of their own accord. Sometimes they ask me where best to write it or send it.

I don't ask - they typically just do it but, I do realize it's not smart not to ask. It's just one of those difficult things to ask for - at least for me it is!

We ask directly and point to the places where our clients might leave a review if they are inclined to do so.

A personal request and a link to a Z. or LI, FB directly.

If you are looking for testimonials, use Survey Monkey.

I send links to where I want my reviews posted to make it easy for them.

I even type up a sample testimonial and offer that they can use it.

No formal system, I just ask. It's much more personal! I will share links to sites to share reviews on, though.

    I ask them to email a review that I can post to my own website, social media.

It is through our C-21 system and is call Real Satisfied.

Just ask for testimonials as you are sevicing customers and save your money.

Here's the problem.

There are sources like FAKESPOT.com that rates reviews to judge if the review is FAKE.  Those with A+ rating on FAKESPOT.com, stating 0% fake reviews of the 122,000 received.

Those small companies, the ones owned by real estate agents rarely get a thousand reviews. Because of the low count, the rating will be F or slightly higher. Getting into the 'review' game can be self defeating.

I suggest creating a systematic approach to getting video reviews. 

There are FIVE question every citizen needs answered in the process of selecting a real estate agent. One of those question is, "Can I trust Gary? Does he have by back?"

Stay alert for the situation that reveals you can be trusted. Once that event has past but still vivid with emotion, get the testimonial regarding 'Gary's got my back!"

Don't try to answer all five questions in one interview.

"I was in the process of buying the house. A few unexpected expenses surfaced that put the purchase in jeopardy. Gary was burning the midnight oil and discovered this house qualified for USDA financing. That wasn't his job. But, he did what needed to be done and saved the day. We closed a few weeks later. Thank you Gary for having my 6."

That is what you want on your website.

Stay off the debris fields.

From my market research, most citizens reveal they go to Yelp....for the fun of it. Citizens say they pay no attention to the reviews. People make choices to avoid shame, meaning by saying they "pay no attention' they can avoid judgment.

Reach 150, its easy to maneuver and easy for the clients to respond.

I ask at the time of their Closing .. and then follow-up with an email request about a week later.  While I provide the direct links to the social media sites they can utilize to leave a testimonial, I also tell them that just writing one in a return email is appreciated too.  I then post their testimonial to those sites on my own (including AR).

I would make sure I use only Professional sites unlike z and t and others.
