Do you have to use the full 32 characters? Can it be abbreviated to "BarringtonLuxury.com" or something smaller?

I wouldnt, if selling a home then sell the home, not a trinket that will attract people who are looking for trinkets rather than homes.

It's all about generating leads.
When the viewer has arrived at the single property website, that marketing job is DONE. The video, picts, brochure....fuzzy words are there to inspire a call to the agent or reject the property. Then what?
The person on that website has little interest in a mouse pad or calendar. What they WANT is empowerment. An empowerment that actually changes them.
That empowerment can be through information or resources.
What would happen if the website visitor, maybe they even saw the house, was invited to calcutate the value of the house based on what they observed and get INSTANT results?
Or, what I have found very effective in my little town of Dunedin Florida is a FREE MyDunedin.com bumper sticker. No one cares what a real estate agent would do with a bumper sticker, but these do deliver email addresses straight to me and bumper stickes to a lot of bulltetin boards, refrigerators and even some commercial vehicles in the area. And of course who do you think keeps a close eye on that URL? That is right.

What about a cheap (~$10-$15) bluetooth speaker?
Have some nice stickers printed (e.g. black with silver lettering) with the property URL and your info, and stick it to each one.
Even after the property is sold, your info will be around to high-value prospects. I don't see people discarding a bluetooth speaker.

No but I worked with a broker who gave away iPad minis with every sold listing. Gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling...

I just took the Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) designation course. The instructor stated that properties that are given a name sell for 40% more. Why not give your listing a name that would be a shorter URL? Then find a giveaway that's a reminder of the name. Here's an interesting post about the subject: http://www.zephyrhillblog.com/2009/07/how-to-name-your-farm-or-ranch/
Then you could have the name engraved on a wine stopper like this:

If I saw an advertisement that urged me to click on a website in order to receive something of value I would suspect a scam.

Just pay FB and IG and target buyers in your location to forward them there.

My first thought is too long a name, people cant remember long names. I love give aways but you want real buyers, not just contest junkies

I did many years ago - I no longer do so as I can usually sell them in the time frame given without going through the trouble

Would the name of the neighborhood be a shorter Domain? then you could use the same Domain for the next listing you have in there and could gain in traffic over time? Corinne Guest, Managing Broker

Corinne,
What would people in your marketplace appreciate? It could be mini iPads as Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®,CRS, . Our Florida client gives away a bottle of Dom Perignon. In Napa, it would be a bottle of Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon. Each market is so darn unique! A

Is that still a 'domain'? It's got more digits than the alphabet lol.
Can't think of anything other than a ruler.

I have not, it seems extravagant for one property but I can see it for the development(s) I represent Corinne Guest, Managing Broker
