No, and I bet the reason they're removing it now is because property condition is quite subjective. I bet there was always a lot of dissent over it. They were probably tired of hearing about it.

No condition field here.
However, someone suggested 'triple mint' could be a condition indicator.
Yep. I can see why that fields 'gotta go."

A very subjective issue, I can understand why they would remove it.

No, ours does not. The pictures and in-person visit show the condition. What are the major issues with removing it?

We do and while most are pretty consistent with our own definitions, the subjective nature makes it a useless field.

Never heard of such a thing - and I can see it being an issue as what one person thinks the condition of a property is may be quite different than another.

Yes, but like many fields agents don't always complete, so properties get missed if you rely on it.

Have not seen it... there can be so many factors contributing to how someone sees the condition, I could see where having this field could be very troublesome.

No but, many agents include the Disclosures in our MLS for other agents' access. I would think this could be quite the subjective answer so, I don't know that I would WANT to have this requirement entered by an agent.
Removing that criteria could be removing liability for your members, Dean Cacioppo!

The tax information imports into the MLS and that gives age.

Dean ~ Here in Northern Virginia we have an optional field that runs the gamut from shell, As-Is condition, rehab potential, to shows well. Most of the time it is helpful, but as several other comments have noted, condition is subjective.

We have a Seller's Property Disclosure with years in it, and if the homeowners cannot remember, it is left blank.

Nope. Like grading diamonds under the lupe, so much to cover when there is a house or structure attached to the land to assign a number. Could have new roof, heating system but damage from before with ceilings and the freeze up makes you scratch your head. The appraiser says rotten, fair, fair plus, good minus, OMG best I've ever seen to date, etc. The images and your warning that they may cause a stomach reaction tell the tale of what the heck happened here... Videos don''t lie either as you pan the room where it looks like Stephen King made a movie. The good, the bad, the ugly. (That clint eastwood eerie sound) This is what you are getting boys and girls.

No, but we can add a key word: fixer, reo, brand new, etc. and it is optional.
