I think that Joan Cox uses Real Geeks (hi Joan, hope you don't mind the shout-out).
Also, Robert Newman wrote this comparison blog post that included Real Geeks.

Nick DeMers wow so many comments from people without RealGeeks. I guess they were attracted to the 10 points offered for comments.
I, on the other hand, do have RealGeeks. I have been using them for 5 years. I'm very happy with the product. In response to the 24-hr support. Not an issue, this product never goes down. Any requests I have made during business hours have been handled quickly--usually in under 2 hours. So no worries there.
They offer a lot for the money. Besides the website, IDX and CRM, they also include text messaging and drip campaigns in the monthly fee. So all my communication is neatly stored in one location. Love that. They also integrate with third party vendors including gmail, Zillow, BombBomb, Mail Chimp, etc. The have an easy FB ad tool for an additional monthly fee. But as Corinne Guest, Managing Broker said, nothing is a magic pill. Create engaging content with keyword specific neighborhood pages and you'll do well.
Want to know how I found a good website provider? I went to the testimonial page for each website provider. I then Googled "city homes for sale" to see if any of the agent websites on the provider's testimonial page ranked on page one of Google. In almost every case, the RealGeeks agent's websites appeared on the first page of Google for that search term. That won me over. I haven't regretted my choice in 5 years. BTW, I do appear on the first page of Google for Franklin TN homes for sale.

I looked into them a while back. Toyed with the idea of adding their framed IDX to my site. They had a nice backend system and the regular IDX was nicer than the framed one I could add to my site. Ended up not going with them though. Price was prohibitive for what I needed and wanted it for.

I am a firm believer in owning your own website and having control over it. For SEO, wordpress platform is the way to go.
But to answer your direct question you need to understand and know the niche you are in, who your competitors are, and what your goals are for your site.
If you are just sending direct traffic to a website from offline marketing, then much of this does not matter except for user friendly search functions and good aesthetics.
But if you want online traffic, that is a totally different conversation.

no, they were someone I interviewed, but elected not to hire. I went with BoomTown and it's too early to know if I am happy or not. My official launch is Monday, but soft launch on Friday and I've had 3 leads so far and one seems very warm.

After visiting their website (I have no personal experience) they present a very comprehensive suite of tools and resources.
One in particular provision regarding the CRM is not fleshed out on their website and reads as follows:
Tracks and nurtures Realtors' lead databases with marketing automation features and real-time reporting / analytics.
If this refers to true 'inbound marketing" (not email) then the greater cost is fully justifiable. I have not heard Real Geeks included in any conversations or conferences focused on where the agents needs to be in 20020.
For traditional needs, the appear to be outstanding.

Solid company.
Very fast websites.
Easy to SEO.
Good lead conversion rate, mainly because of the speed.
If you are willing to do some work and create many area pages targeting longtail terms and some link building, you'll do very well.

Nick, I have only heard good things about Real Geeks. I have 3 real estate friends across the country who are fairly tech minded and they all have had rock solid success with Real Geeks and the IDX lead registration forms.
