One of my dear friends and colleagues owns several offices in our County, one of the top national names. I've got an office waiting for me and one for the dog if I'll come aboard, but no one's holding their breath. LOL We take care of each other as if we work for the same company anyway. I have relationships like that with several brokers in my area.

I get numerous every month via email which I ignore.  If someone were to actually call me I would listen politely, and then decline.  and explain I am happy where I am.  The emails are sent to the trash.

As an agent by phone or email. As a manager I was usually invited out for a drink!

I get them by email every week. I think people will change when they are ready and not because they receive a recruiting call or email. 

1/week at least

    Often when I close a deal, the Broker for the other side asks me if I want to work with them.  I am honored, but thanks/no thanks.

Occasional phone solicitation.

There are the weekly emails from full commission internet brokers like Allison James.  Last year I did get a recruitting call from Re/Max corporate wanting to talk to me about opening up a new branch for them... which I told them was pretty silly since there were 3 branches out here already.  The year before a Century 21 office tried to recruit me to be their manager.  Told them thanks but I didn't leave one 8-5 job to go into another.

Just received another email today to meet for coffee...usually hot and heavy end of the year and beginning of spring market always

Real estate is a numbers game in so many ways. I'd guess 4 to 5 times a month someone contacts me to join their fracas.

It's probably pretty clear that I'm a broker with my own brokerage. I get all the calls from those who want me to become part of their lead generation program. Sorry, my marketing is set for 2018.

Exp has been after me for months, I reciprocate and suggest why they may want to join KW.

Many through mass email almost once a day a few years ago and now about once a week.

I have had three or four already. I can just about set my calendar off of one company each month.

ha... I once asked a sales manager from another office why she only attempted to recruit agents in my office and not me!!!  she said if I worked there, the agents would never listen to her again...only me... I never left any company unless there was a career advancement for me.... I stayed at least 10 years at each company and I've been with RE/MAX for 22 years of the 40 in real estate....

Seems to be continuously, mostly by email. Some of the emails I get from brokers are 3-4 hours away. Actual phone calls seem to average 2 a month. Sometimes they come in spurts. I really get tired of the all the invites to meet for coffee 1-2 hours away. These people seem to think i have nothing better to do than waste 3-4 hours driving to meet them for coffee and listen to thire sales pitch?

Two emails a day, and a call a day

Just had a company that I never heard of. I am not impressed or worse yet - don't know who they are.

All the time, even some from those I personally know. Clearly, they don't do their homework or they wouldn't be calling me.

I don’t keep track but quite a few. 

Frequently. It use to be that I couldn't even walk my dog down Main Street without the one of the broker/owners from a big box chain rolling down his car window and yelling...when are you going to join xxxxx.

Keep in mind I live in an extremely rural area. So when I say Main Street...that is a common area in which to run into people. 

Last year I had three, but said I was happy where I am.

It is a crazy year - and recuitment and new brokerages are popping up everywhere in our market.

By mail and by phone...2 today...am I the only one annoyed by it? It makes me very sympathetic to what the general public goes through when inundated by calls from agents!

Recruiting brokers are doing what all cold callers do...pound the phone.

I imagine that is them modeling the brokerages best marketing strategy.

I do not keep track.  I estimate several calls a year and at least one letter or card a month.  

All the time, especially after closings. 

I stopped counting since the first of the year - emails, calls and texts.

Several emails per week, cards after many transactions and a few direct calls per year.

I haven't had any yet this year.

Every week it seems and yesterday was Remax day i guess. What they do not get, is what can they do for me. They ask what i can do for them? sorry, they came to me. 

I just moved from my brokerage of 11 years - I usually get 3-4 offers a year

my agents drop letters on my desk from other brokers inviting them to lunch, generally after a deal with them.

I can't tell you how often! I have more blocked calls from local brokerages than I do spammers. Once and they're done! 

Not that many lately. I countered --Would you want to come to our office work under a lawyer and better split?
