It's marketing rather than lead capture in my opinion.

RE/MAX provides some freebies with Adwerx for its agents so I use it promote listings because it's free and every bit of promotion helps as far as I'm concerned and sellers like it.

Never used them but I did make the mistake of checking them out and was disappointed with the inflexibility of the adds they create.

Then they proceeded to hound me, stalk me until I threatened to get a restraining order.

I was considering them, but think I must have read the same negative reviews, and took a pass.  However, if they were to market me as much as they promote themselves, I would be extremely well known : )

Francisco Peot - I was almost about to use it. And realized I can do better without spending that much money, perhaps.

You are correct, this is a marketing company that is branding efficient but not exceptional in lead generation.  They have 'added on' real estate to their primary target markets.

For real estate agents, this would be a bad fit for lead generation but may prove very beneficial as the 'approval' mechanism to support other lead generation activity. (one of the 3 essential touch points)

Through REMAX I have access but have never initiated a cohesive strategy to lever the strength of Adwerx.

I don't know anything about adwerx.... I find my own leads and I brand my name....

I did for about a year, lead to absolutely nothing, and nothing measurable. I was a paying client to Adwerx.

A common agent mistake is simply setting up an ad that says "Hey.. I'm a Realtor. Call Me".  That ad will not qork for lead gen and when it doesn't it is NOT the fault of the digital ad platform.

It's a branding type of advertisement - not lead gen, which is still ok. What we did not like was the adwerx co-branding on the ads. Why would we pay for advertising our brand and have the adwerx logo/wording on the lower right corner? So in our opinion you pay to brand yourself and also bring business to them... so we did not use them.

I used them for awhile a few years ago.  I felt that the ads got very repetitive and almost annoying to a degree.  Overall I had mixed feelings about them.

I have not used it but several agents in my area did for a time and told me they got nothing from it and from what I saw it was an annoyance to keep seeing their pop-ups.

I have not.  As others have stated it is more a marketing awareness tool than a lead capture.

I tried it and didn't see a benefit in either branding or lead generation. I realize branding is important but I didn't see the value for this specific branding.
