They've been going down and expected to decrease further given new tax laws. In my area, it turns out that 60% of people will be seeing a tax increase. Yes, an increase. And, homeowners are hit harder than renters, ironically.
However, if our governor can make some changes (which would reduce the amt the federal government will be able to claim from NY), it may mitigate some of this.
