I been working on being #1 in my area.  It's taken some time but I went from #5 to #3. Now I am super close to passing #2. You just got to keep plugging away consistently.

I think you found the answer. Got this one sufficiently covered in spades but will point out, that you will find some bloggers on the mission to hit the free land who hunt and peck with a flurry. Even though you make comments on their machine gunned blog posts, they may rarely or never comment on your posts Erika Albert ! It happens.

     A few ways to get points in a hurry:

      Leave the maximum number of comments per day, post the max number of posts per week, answer the max number of questions per day, post a question every day, participate in the contests, and follow 5 new people per day.

SO happy that so many reached out with the answer of 500,000 points. I want to add you can build points quite easily and quickly be getting active. Write a blog a day. For me I also write an additional 3 market reports a week and schedule them for evening. Read other blogs and leave comments daily. Come on q and 1 and answer questions. Watch those points build. NEXT and most important, by writing a blog a day, you will see an increase in business as consumers love blogs that have good topics, teach something and that grab their attention
