Yeah but if it's on there some stupid idiot created a problem for themselves and others and litigation ensued. That's why our contracts have gone from two pages to 30 pages in 15 years.

It is similar to the hot liquid warnings on coffee cups at fast food places. It's to reduce liability and from someone saying, Nobody told me!

You mean the manual is not written in Spanish.  My solar controller for drought system water was written in Spanish I never could figure out how it works. Hired a Latino consultant he looked at the schematic and instruction and stated it was not correct.

I don't need the information. I also do not get enough snow to need the machinery. I think let people do what they want. It is their money and their ignorance.

Yep, like other have said... there is a reason why it's there as a result from a moron using it in the summer. And have to do with the settings of the engine itself with the particularities of using it only in the winter, oil viscosity may be one of them.

I guess they need to say this to cover their rear. They are funny to read, but the people who use it for other reason, probably couldn't read either

It seems like the disclosures for products get more ridiculous with time.  Just because someone somewhere did something dumb and then sued is why they add those silly disclosures.

And ya know, to be realistic here. It COULD snow and then warm up. So let's say there was three feet of snow on day one, and on day two it goes up to 45 which is warm for a winter day. Someone COULD read this and not know what the heck to do. If they really want to be clear, they should say "Don't use if there is no snow on the ground" or "Snow required."
