video is good to use.... and we have a professional photographer who does all of our photography including 3D tours and aerial videos and still shots....

When I post a video in a blog post I get astronomically higher numbers of hits.  Keep posting the video in your reports.

I primarily use it in video tours of homes. My advise is that however you use video, make it very professional and high quality. 

Video market reports are great! 

We do some of those for clients and also some of our clients do them themselves and then we transcribe and SEO their videos. 

We use video for many things, webinars, recorded webinars, tutorials, important updates, listings, geo areas, etc. 

Video is very underused but in such a huge demand by consumers. Very few realtors take advantage of this huge opportunity. 

I have not yet used videos.

 I've done some virtual tours with them and used it to highlight special features like a pool with a waterfall and a slide, but overall got nothing out of it.  I'm not a fan of video and it's something I'll not be adding into my arsenal.

Information videos and listing tours. I have done neighborhood videos and points of interest videos, too. I did a series of market reports a couple of years ago and want to revive that.

I use it as marketing for listings with me behind the camera.

Praful,  The photo below is how I use video! This is a snapshot from my "Ugly Sweater Contest" which I did two weeks ago before Xmas. I use my Iphone but with a wide angle lens adapted to a special case. This is through "Face Book Live" and is posted on my "business" page on Facebook. I then "boost" the post. This program is "live" and adds a different dimension to my local radio show. And yes, the sweater I'm wearing is really ugly! Is it professionally done? Absolutely NOT! That's the charm of it. Folks can tune in via Facebook and chat with me and see the show in person. 

I don't do video market reports except for the monthly report RE/MAX puts out. I do video testimonials. I use video (Professional) for my listings.

A great way to use video is having the seller talking about why they loved the home!

I mostly use video in my emails to follow up with leads. It's an ice breaker that gets better response than a text email. 

Yes but it needs to be professionally done. I did one took 1 morning and edition. Two hundred dollars and 800 clicks. Never got a call.

For a marketing report consideer using a 'scribble' program like EasySketch.(the product sales was created with EasySketch)  There are many that do the same thing.

Then when you get to the 'analysis' part of a market report that needs be a face to face or maybe a interview format. (Interview has more legs)

Real full motion with natural sound video for properties, for community events, for explaining how to in the real estate process. Put your videos in playlists and optimize them for SEO. Market reports are dry and talking head videos cause flit, folks to fall asleep.

Ha. well you know we use video. Although, didn't do much last year and saw a drop in calls from relo clients. We think they are the best way to showcase ourselves as ambassadors of our market. It's also a great way to connect with like-minded people. IMHO if you  do a video market report - try to keep if visually stimulating and entertaining...otherwise, I'm afraid it will be a waste of time.

I produce a video for each of my listings, and now have done a voice over walking the potential buyers through the home.    Also do them for neighborhoods I like to work.

Yes, it is a good idea. I just posted a video prediction that 80% of information in 2018 is going to be consumed from some kind of video. Use it all and in any way you can to get attention to your business. 

I use actual video tours (not slideshows) for my listings (publicly), done by professional videographers & drone photographers.

Personally, video emails - short, sweet and to the point when an explanation is needed.
