Sorry, I just don't see it as something that can replace money.  The amount of power being used to generate the existing bit coins is more than the power output of some countries.  It's estimated that the power output needed by 2020 will be more than is currently produced on earth... so no, I'm not interested.

Besides, when computers get wiped out by an EMP and we get plunged back into the dark ages, cash money will be unaffected.  Bitcoin will vanish overnight.

This is something that needs to be monitored. But at this point in time I still want to be able to touch money if I choose. It's bad enough that gold and silver don't back the American dollar. So put me in the no column.

I am on board.  I am invested in a company that is building blockchain technology.  It is already here ... the horse is out of the barn.

People also said Facebook was a fad. They said YouTubers were a fad!!!! Heck, America's Got Talent laughed at Lindsay saying there is no place for violin in the market. ---- She showed them through YouTube that was not true!!!!
