We have some very good social media posters and managers on our team. We delegate all of our social media tasks to them but then I am also very active myself on Twitter and Facebook and trying to be more active on Linkedin. I like to post and network online. But the vas do all my tedious tasks and repetitive tasks. We do social media for several brokers and agents.

I do it myself, I'm the only one I trust to put it in my voice and not accidently post something inappropriate.

Katerina Gasset does have people who can do social media for you though.

everything is delegated to ME.... I do all of the marketing and service all of the websites....plus realbird.... facebook....and my own website ....and facebook business page.... 

I have a couple of companies that I delegate posting articles on my business page. We are all notified when they are posted so that if someone comments, I can respond.

As for the posts that they post - they're all real estate related and are only posted on my FB biz pages. My personal page is where the vast majority of my sphere is and that's all me.

I find it to be a bad idea.  I think it should be authentic.

You can pre-post so to speak with Hootsuite & Friends+Me. I do it a week or more ahead ot time.

I don't delegate, but don't do a ton of social media either. I have some shared admins so they do some of the responsibility. Check into BackatYou Media. I think that is what it is called and I think Nina Hollander uses/used them. -Kasey

Not yet, so far I'm all-in-one marketer. But I do not mind to bring someone when I'm busy. 

 It's all on me.  If you use a VA or a service, make sure they "sound like you".

I don't delegate much... but will be looking into doing more of it this year. I use BackAtYouMedia to "manage" my Facebook business page, but also do alot on my own there.

Tried it and it really didn't work well. Not hyper local, no original material - most of it copied, weak on real estate. Nothing better than the way I do it.

Never, its either me, or its not happening. I have seen too many horrors from those who let others post for them.

I feel unless you do it yourself you can easily lose control as the image on social media is yours, have one assistant or paid media source, mess that up has lasting negatives

I hired a company that specializes in investment and insurance leads through Google Ad Words and Facebook, because my time is better spent nurturing potential clients and masterfully servicing my current clients.

I think one must base their decision on the role they have assigned social Media in their business.

If it is personality based, then it is dependent on the owner.

If it is information based, it can be delegated. However, it is best to keep it local. The hired gun needs to be familiar with the area and make certain generic, but inappropriate, terminology is not used, such as basement in coastal Florida.

As others have pointed out, you could lose 'your voice.'

Because my 'purpose' is lead generation and not personality building I hire others to coordinate the FB ads with web content.

Most people lack consistency , so delegating should help
