Roast goose with red cabbage on Christmas Eve. Never do much for Christmas Day in terms of cooking.

We are having a traditional Cuban meal; white rice, black beans, roast pork plenty of wine, family and friends. Christmas music in the background, perfect...

Food and more food. Oh yes, lots of homemade cookies and a glass of bubbly for the adults.

We decided we had had enough of turkey so for brunch we ate at Perkins, diner is pizza and Christmas diner is lasagna. 

Crab cakes tonite, Cornish game hen tomorrow.

Chef Dolores has been busy in the kitchen but the menu has not yet been announced.

Christmas Eve out to dinner with family. Christmas Day is going to be grab a snack with plenty of choices.

More food than you can shake a stick at, Diana! All but, 2 of the dishes are prepared and right now, I'm smoking 1 of the 3 meats for tomorrow - a Boston butt! The turkey and Turducken will be going in tomorrow morning.

Presents are wrapped and my boys are on their way home now from visiting friends.  Let the celebration begin!!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Ham, mashed potatoes, Italian green beans, mac and cheese, deviled eggs, dressing, fresh fruit and green salad and yeast rolls. For dessert, we had pecan pie, pumpkin pie, chocolate chess pie, cupcakes and thumbprint shortbread cookies.

It is way too much food even though I just got a little of all most of it.

Chicken and dressing, green beans, candied yams, pasta salad, real mashed potatoes and of course apple crisp.

Antipasto, wine & cheese, soup, salad, baked ziti, a spiral ham, roast beef, roasted potatoes & a lot more!

It was the Indian delicacy....

 May I suggest a dash more horseradish in the cocktail sauce?

Never even thought about that, I am sure that it will be something good.

Lasagna tonight ham tomorrow. Ever since my cauliflower mashed potato recipe last Thanksgiving I am no longer allowed to do any holiday cooking. 

I love shrimp. I wish I had it on my menu.

A lot of food, and too much of it.

We are having Prime Rib with mashed potatoes and aus jus gravy. Baked fennel with Parmesan, green beans and a salad. Steamed artichokes for appetizer. I’m brewing some warmed mulled Christmas wine with spices and fresh orange slices. 

Grass Fed, Grass Finished Filet Mignon, Wild Caught Shrimp sauteed in Garlic Butter and loaded Baked Potatoes.

Christmas Day is at a friends house - I suspect a Prime Rib!

for Christmas Eve we had a spiral cut ham, turkey, rice pilaf, caesar salad, antipasto, Greek Salad, Dolores Kelley's crab dip, olive platter, veggie platter, bread tray and many other dishes.... dessert was a variety of pastries.... and I made a fruit salad for the health conscious peeps....

Christmas Day is at Andy's house and he's cooking a rib roast....

Turkey, Dressing, Mashed Potatoes, Roasted carrots, green beans.. gravy... and green salad... repeat.. repreat..

We had a buffet of food - ham, turkey, deviled eggs, cheese & crackers, potato casserole, and lots of desserts.

Christmas eve was a day of baking for Christmas day in my house.  I made cookies and 4 pies.  And I baked a casserole for dinner, but we have ham and sides for Christmas at my moms.  It was delicious. 

No menus for me.  Diet stays the same throughout the year.  

Actually I was quite good so far. I'm keeping healthy choices as well:) 

Prime rib, and vodka

Today it is roast duck.

Skipped dinner last night.  Went to a brunch buffet with the extended family.  Ate more than enough to hibernate for the winter.

Tonight, some lasagna and various sweets.

Was a very atypical  had a delicous spaghetti dish with salad and crusty Italian bread
