For their first year, they have been successful because they are new in FL. and going for quick name recognition.  Doesn't matter if you love or hate their style, they will be remembered for being loud, in your face, outrageous, etc.  And, it's working for them Annette Lawrence , Palm Harbor, FL 727-420-4041.  Their market is anyone who wants/needs a vehicle for their family, and finds that payment affordable - it's a numbers game.  They've gotten your attention.  I remember a car dealer in No. CA. when we lived there, who had that same style, and he was very popular, and his name stuck because of his marketing - he was around for decades, and I still remember him today!

Nobody can top the late Cal Worthington of Los Angeles.  When I lived in Phoenix in the 1970's, we picked up a couple of the TV stations that ran commercials for "Cal and my dog, Spot".

Many years ago, I took classes and was in a couple of commercials.

What I learned was that it is not about the advertising message, but rather whether or not the consumer will remember the product.

They are blanket marketing and their target is their buyers - whomever hears the ad and has the need NOW! It's not marketing for longevity, it's for the here and now!

It sounds more like "victim" marketing than "target" marketing and the victims are probably those with poor credit/no credit. While it is not true predatory lending or subprime lending, it contains one element...putting the emphasis on only the monthly payment.

I did the math...$36,000 divided by $295/month = 122.03 months or 10 years, 2.03 months. Not many people keep a car for 10 years and even if someone did, they would probably have negative equity and require gap insurance for some time. Is there any mention of a down payment, terms, prepay, etc. in the advertising? APR? Or is this a "buy here, pay here, sign and drive" type of dealership?

Every area has at least one of those. Obnoxious and loud YES, sales generating Yes.

Years ago I saw an ad whilst visting my folks in central NY. This "big" guy would yell his savings were "HUUUUUGGGGH!" at the end of evey commercial. Now he is one of the countries biggest dealerships and owns several privated gets and a caribbean island.

Reminds of a reality show from awhile ago, King of Cars. Same idea. There is a lot of testosterone in the car business. If you're truly bored you might get a kick out of watching some of the old episodes on You Tube.

I don't watch commercials ever. If there's a tv show I want to see I record and then fast forward through the ads. If I'm watching live, I put ads on mute or I go do something else until the show comes on. I'm pretty much immune to advertising.

I would have to see their commercial to understand what their target market is. I have to say that being loud and obnoxious is a type of marketing that does garner attention, and if you tell people that you are successful, they will think you are successful. By the way, $36,000 for a Kia doesn't seem like a great deal to me.

Hi Annette Lawrence , Palm Harbor, FL 727-420-4041

Used house salespeople should take a lesson.

According to Tom Ferry 87% of All Agents Fail in Real Estate

According to Automotive News 67 % of Car Sales People fail.

After nearly 2 decades in this business full time I LMFAO at all the pretentious people in this business who think they are magically better  / superior to car sales people.

It sounds like they are a good sales organization with skills.

Remember, only 13% of us will still be in this business just a few years from now. The others will fail because they cannot SELL

Happy Selling to all us Used and New House Salesmen and Saleswomen,

If the ads got your attention, then it's working! I always remember in a marketing class, the Professor said, "If it get's your attention, it's working." I agree that I myself don't like them, but then again, I used to hate "Don't squeez the Charmin." I could not stand Mr. Whipple, but I remember the Charmin.

We had Cal Worthington Ford who used a lion in all his commercials (tamed pet lion).  Then there's also Toyota of Orange where "You coulda got a lemon"... but you went there instead.

Jingles are catchy too, like "605 and south street, cerritos auto square" and "1-800 cars for kids"... of course so is Sam Malone's "Groin Injury Rap" from Cheers...

In your face and annoying definitely gets you remembered.  I'd say their target audience is people looking for cheap disposable Korean cars.
