I love purple but not on all walls.  I can see how it works on one side of the wall where the rest are neutral (white or any almost white) and the home is decorated nicely.  For example in the living with dark hardwood floors, white/almost white plantation shutters, sofa and loveseat with pillows that has a touch of purple color.

I did not know that. Thanks for the info. Violet is a great color, very relaxing and highly spiritual,  if you like it, go for it. But as with any fashion, I ignore recommended colors and trends and highly recommend everyone to find their own lasting style.
