I suggest you copy it into notepad or something similar first.  That will strip the code.  Then  paste into AR.  You may need to do some reformatting and linking.  In a perfect world a simple copy and paste would work.  That simply is not the case with the AR platform which can be temperamental at times and other times the gremlins just take over and have fun with us. 

I'd also like to add that as a Rainer your posts are members only ... the public never sees the posts.  

I believe that the developers have been working trying to keep copyright infringement down. There are ways around it. Put it in another word editor and manipulate it. They import.

I would first try copying the html code from your other blog and paste it into AR's html editor <>, if this does not work then paste your blog into Word first like Debbie and Kathleen have suggested.

The gremlins are causing problems again.  Others might be more helpful.

I just did a copy and paste from my facebook page, and I lost it...I did it a second time and voila.... I had to format the text and change the font size....

 Cut and paste the HTML Source Code, instead of the text and images.

 Another option is to do a really good screen shot of the AR page, and paste that.

Change the format.

Maybe a gremlin?  It's been a while, but I've never had issues pasting.

I tend to agree with the answer provided by Kathleen.

You need to reformat it & use the HTML window. I'm going to assume that you don't know how to do that.

The only thing I can think is that they have anti-copy software on the periodical.

Reboot your computer. 

You can not paste your formatting in here. The result will be all messed up. I would suggest to write a few new sentences, maybe paste a part of it,  and direct your readers to your original article. 

My guess is a formatting error.   Try using a program that strips formatting or post using the html.

I'd write an original article here in AR and add a link back to your other blog.  Just write a personal intro letting us know what it's about and then add a link.  Links from AR give your blog authority.  However duplicate content here will damage your SERPS and SEO on your site.
