I just don't think anything is impossible. And I'm usually right.

I don't know that I have any super powers but I do have a few traits that have served me well:
1. I can keep calm in crisis
2. I can use humor to diffuse tense situations
3. I know how to keep perspective on the twists and turns of life.

One particular time comes to mind where I believe I passed along God's message to a young man at a time in his life when he had no will to live.  He'd been in a tragic accident falling through a plate glass window from a second story room and suffered both brain damage and had an impared ability to walk.   

I was showing homes to his family and they found the one they were ready to make an offer on (he was college aged, but no longer attending or able to work at the time).  His parents drove behind me with him along and God literally spoke to me to share the message that his life had been spared because he still had things to accomplish and do. I felt very uncomfortable telling him what God instructed me to do, but I pushed through my fear and said the words.

Last year I listed and it sold his parents home on Lake Sinclair.  He's now working, married and the father to two beautiful children. He began his work career in his parents basement, but now lives with his wife, is driving again and a great dad.  He still has struggles, but I never see his mother without her telling me what an impact that day was for him and their entire family.

I give 100% credit to God because it wasn't me, it was God working through me. However, what it did for me was make me listen for God's guidance more closely and not let fear stop me from trying to make a difference in someone else's life.

my superhero is my Personal Trainer at the YMCA.... she's a powerhouse and only 5'2".... she lifts weights and has great form doing it.... she competed when she was younger.... in her 40's now.... 

There are many examples of opportunities to be a "super hero" but one that comes to mind was when I was out hiking with a bunch of church friends and I had brought my two children along.  When everyone was getting ready to leave ... I asked the people in the  back seat if they knew where my daughter "Tammy" was as she was not in the car.  Just as I said that I turned and saw my daughter sitting on the ground picking up rocks to put in her pocket and there was a Monster Truck that was backing up and over my little girl! I jumped from my car and ran but it was too late. The back of the truck stopped at Tammy's jaw line -- she was pinned. The driver pulled out and many came running.  She was still holding onto her little rocks. The guy driving was new to the group and had just committed his life to the Lord -- a Newbie.  Once I assessed the situation and realized Tammy was okay I turned and went to the young man and put my arms around him and told him Jesus Loves You!  Everything is going to be okay! At that moment I was given the grace to keep cool in a situation that could have escalated out of control.  We rushed my daughter to the hospital and she was more shaken up than anything and told the doctors that an angel kept her safe.  I believe her!

I enjoy peeling back the layers and getting to know people at the core...

I am not inclined to go with "super hero" simply because I believe that we all have the the power within us to think, be and do whatever we want ... we just need to believe in our self and have faith. 

I am a "right-fighter" and will do the right thing ... no matter what. 

Those moments are very frequent, God requires us to step up and do what is needed.

Well, I have been married to the same woman for 41 years. I am not sure if she has the super powers or me, (probably her).

I am my own superhero...I have fought my entire life for what is right and ethical.

My super power I discovered when I was 17 and used it for 28 years!

She makes bricks without straw.

Well, I wasn't going to tell anyone... but not only can I split myself into multiple copies but I can read minds AND plug directly into the internet through a neural link.

Missing in action.

As an older guy and someone who is short I go for Mighty Mouse, a power in a samll package.

No doubt- Sufferability.

Steve Martin developed my Super Hero in his stand ups in the 70-80's ... The "All-Being" is master of time and space.  Seems to be the ultimate super power to me lol

The term "superhero" implies they are always great, which I find artificial and bordering on worship of a person. I am attracted to ordinary people that do extraordinary things in the face of great adversity by making difficult, unpopular choices. Examples: Martin Luther, Abraham Lincoln, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, William Wilberforce, et. al.
