I don't but overall I like sweet potatoes even if I just baked them in the oven with a little butter and salt.

I like them plain... little bit of cinnamon. There is a huge difference in flavor with organic. Prefer mine baked like a baked potato and eat them sliced and skin on..Also like baked sweet potato fries sometimes with some smoked paprika or Cayenne but not at Thanksgiving 

When it comes to food - especially when I am being served - I'm pretty grateful for whatever is presented.  So much better than if I was left with my own limited culinary skills.   

The best are those smothered in butter and brown sugar and baked.  However, I enjoy sweet potatoes simply baked and opened like a regular potato and then a little butter, brown sugar and broken pecans sprinkled on top. My husband and I will put cubed sweet potatoes as well as other root vegetables on pizza. Fabulous!

I love yams and sweet potato. My favorite is a simple baked( just a pinch of salt and olive or coconut oil.

Yep, we mash 'em, add brown sugar, lots of butter, bake and then add mini marshmallows to the top about 10 minutes before they're finished or until lightly browned.

  Not a fan.  Give me mashed potatoes instead, drown them in butter and gravy.

Red garnet yams (the ones that have bright orange flesh) with a good dose of Bouron and a layer of pecans plus a light dash of brown sugar on top. 9 out of 10 guests ask for the recipe. I got it years ago from Bon Appetit but I leave out the pound of butter and no one notices. Tastes like a zillion calories but actually super healthy.
