I try to always update when I get the notice.  I hate that tracking crap.  There is a little piece of a sticky note over my laptop camera lens too.

Firefox has an incognito mode that stops all tracking. Go firefox- options- privacy and choose your settings

It's an annoying feature that is only going to get worse. We are inundated with more information and becoming dumber.

This is great for my iPhone useage, but I'm a Chrome user on desktop.

I think at this stage I'm sort of immune to the tracking.... don't love it, but expect it to happen.

They all seem to catch up to us quick;y no matter what.

I use Firefox with no-script, Adblockk plus, Ghostly and Disconnect.  Darn near all trackers blocked for the last 15+ years.

I have an app on Chrome. Not sure if it really works but it makes me feel better.

I have a do-not-track setting on my Avast SafeZone browser that seems to be working pretty well at not stalking me.

Funny but when I am in Safari I see all those tracking ads and don't notice them on Chrome.

This morning a question was posted regarding REALTOR.com ads.

I was clueless BECAUSE my environment is reasonably sterile and none of those ads crossed my path.

This need to sequester COULD result in greater isolation, segmentation and echoing of our own ideas. 

But I will confess, when I stumble into the real world or marketing anarchy, I remember why I created the cave I live in.

The last three big ticket items I purchased was do to these stalking marketers.

Why?

I have used safari but I have chrome and firefox with settings not to be tracked etc. So I don't usually find that things I look at follow me around anymore.

BTW that is the type of thing that most lead gen companies use to sell ads or views to real estate agents ... so just keep in mind a lot of people block these so they don't work
