We always host - give me a nice bottle of red wine

It's always personalized to the host.. we typically have Thanksgiving dinner with friends who collect turkey ornaments to decorate the table... so I always look for a turkey ornament to bring to add to her collection.

As for receiving... not likely to happen since I never cook for Thanksgiving and don't entertain in my home on that day.

Help cleaning up the mess in the Kitchen !

Depends on the host(ess), of course, but fresh flowers are always well received.  Wine, too, if they are imbibers.  

Oh, no need to bring me anything at all - just yourselves!  

I'm always the hostess so, I never have to think about purchasing one myself!

It depends on the host. It could be wine, champagne, chocolate, a floral piece, etc.  I do not host or cook. Anyone who knows me knows that I would most appreciate a donation made to an animal charity in lieu of a host gift.  

My presence, of course if that is not enough I bring a bottle of wine being I myself am not intoxicating enough Anna Hatridge  

A box of quality Pastries or a nice wine. Last year I brought a bottle of Blackberry Wine with Brandy. It's made at our local vineyard. Also a box of  the best Pastries around town. 

Maid Service to take care of the clean up LOL

 I did this a few years back the host and hostess were very appreciative, they still mention it from time to time. 

I love edible arrangements....and I love to send them, too....

Me wife and I don't go anywhere so no gift.

Judging from what comes through my door is must be green bean casserole.

What I carry through the door is wine, but for those not inclined to drink fruit of the vine, it will be flowers.

But for family, the tradition is to continue to pass the same fruitcake in the tin.

We only host - bring yourself, the best gift ever!

A good meal sent or received accomplishes much...

I usually ask what the host needs.  So sometimes I bring the vegetables, dessert, a bottle of wine or offer help in cleaning after the big meal :)

Usually wine, sometimes a desert, but I'm getting where I just don't feel like going to other relatives houses for Thanksgiving and hoildays.

I saw a cute gift not for Thanksgiving but for Christmas at Staples no less!

It was a 'wine sock' that was a knitted santa clause that you put over the bottle of wine.

This year, I'd give "19 Crimes" wine.  It's Australian and has a companion app!  They poke fun at their penal colony roots and each bottle, when seen through the app "comes alive" with three stories about people who were sent there and why.

Blew my mind when I saw it last week, I've bought several so far.

We do not go anywhere. We eat out.

Either a nice bottle of wine or special candles. Not food since we always have so much over the holidays, and not decorations for the same reason.

I like to feed people, so my table if I host is loaded with homemade delicious food. As for receiving for Thanksgiving: I love hugs and big smiles:)
