It does sound good, but can't be part of our Thanksgiving with all the family there.  My daughter is HIGHLY allergic to pineapple and so don't even bring it in the house.

Sounds interesting. I am sure I never tried anything like it. 

As for recipes, no, i always improvise since I always cook homemade food from scratch. 

Not familar with this but we make different cranberry sauce recipes each Thanksgiving, some cooked, some not. Other than tirkey and stuffing, nothing else is unique. Enjoy!!

My mother-in-law has a similar recipe to that she only makes at the holidays. We also have a green bean casserole full of bacon, butter, brown sugar, worcestershire sauce and some other stuff I may be forgetting that is amazing. We only make it at the Thanksgiving/Christmas when we are all together. -Kasey

We do not cook for Thanksgiving since moving to San Diego, we either go to a restaurant or friends homes. But, I do make a tasty bowl of garlic mashed potatoes.

My mother passed on an old recipe book that looked like ancient scriptures to my daughter. One unique recipe was a huge hit and in demand. There are formulas out there that work many of them simple too

I don't have any such recipes. But will save this one just in case I'm ever incentivized to cook on Thanksgiving.

Yes I do and the reason is that the dishes are too big for just the two of us! I need to make them and put them into smaller containers and freeze them but, just never do.

OR, I could cut the recipes in 1/4th!

I really enjoy special recipes that are made on a limited basis. I used to love pumpkin spice but now it's everywhere and somewhat ruined. Same with bacon and zombies.

Sounds Yummy! NOT! I make cracked Dungeness Crab each year for Thanksgiving. Our crabbers are out now bringing in the haul for next week. Thanksgiving here in California comes with cracked crab and NOTHING is better than fresh Dungeness. The only question--are you a picker/stacker or a picker eater? And do you know where MOST of the meat is stored!?

Not any more.  I no longer "cook" in general and definitely do not cook traditional holiday meals.  Enjoy your holiday meal!
