No, I didn't notice a Facebook outage and a friend in UK was facebook messaging me (I don't like that app but she does) and it worked fine!

The AR outage only impacted me in so far as I said, "Oh wow, AR isn't up" and then I followed that with, "OK, on to my to-do pile!"
