It looks like Florida is in for a terrible storm. Best wishes and prayers for all impacted.

Prayers for all. I cannot get my mind around all of this.  It is more than I can process. 

I hope everyone makes it through ok.

my son lives outside of Orlando and I hope he and his family will be on the road north... he said they've made plans to go north....

I do hope everyone is staying safe.... I know too many people in Florida who seem to be right in the direct path of this monster storm.

Many thoughts and prayers for all our AR friends, and everyone's personal friend and family, and people in general who are going to have to deal with Irma for days to come.

Let your wife know you may be having some visitors arrive in Chicago.  My thoughts are of safe times for those in the potential path of Irma, Jose and Katya.   

Yes we are prepared at home. Please keep praying for us.

     We had a long lunch at Wakulla Springs Lodge today.  We arrived home a few minutes ago; a lot of pickup trucks with boat trailers attached are heading out of here.  

    We've got plenty of water, food, fuel, and ammo.  

    If there is a storm surge in the forecast on Sunday, we'll drive the cars into town and put them in a friend's garage.  Otherwise, we will stay put.

We left our second home in Jupiter on Wednesday

Two bad hurricanes just a few days apart.  I hope all our friends are OK.

The difference between an exciting event and horrific event rests with the 20 mile increment the eyes chooses east or west of the Florida heartland.

Right now, I'm looking forward to a tropical storm, 20 miles west means I will be riding a full fledged hurricane.

You can only do so much, then you must buckle up.

It is a very good time for Florida agents to vacation in the north.

We have been in touch with clients, and they are out of Florida at the present.  Most of them are old hands at hurricane and had their hurricane shutters closed, and their generators ready.  A

Just turned the tv on for the first time this week, it sounds like some places are ordering people to get out Now.

Watching the news and seeing the damage, sure hope all are safe.

I am at my California Palace right now,

My sister and brother-in-law have a home on the intra coastal waterway in Fort Lauderdale - they aren't there fortunately!

I have high school friends who live in So. FL and many are staying, while I have another high school friend who lives in the Panhandle.  Fortunately, I found out today that she is in Kentucky with grandkids.  She lives in a mobile home (oy!) so I hope that No. FL does not get the same intensity as other areas.  Sending Good Thoughts and Prayers to EVERYONE - just stay safe - and know that all of us are thinking of you . . .  Allie

I have a buyer moving from Florida. Movers were scheduled to pick up today and last word I heard was they didn't see how the moving van was going to be able to make it to their house becasue of all the traffic being bumper to bumper.

I wondeer wwhy people wait so long
