"starting"?

Yeah, the lunar eclipse on the 7th started the ball rolling on super cray. That was just the warm-up.

I do not notice any difference. I think, L.A. area has already too much traffic and too much craziness. 

The Adler Planetarium gave out 1/2 million pairs of solar glasses so far. No one has any left & we've got how many days to go?

Wow, that is a lot of tourism opportunities.

Haven't really paid attention, so I guess my answer is no, but that doesn't mean there isn't craziness around me... just that I'm oblivious to it.

15 mile backup. It is going to be one heck of a crazy weekend for your area. Nothing going on here and I am happy about that.

Not in the traffic patterns in my area ... they are always crazy. I do see a lot of hype on the Internet and here in the Rain about it.

Scary. Hopefully the communities are prepred  much as they can be, but perhaps there will be far more people than even anticipated. Not that kind of an issue in our area, thankfully

I'm having an eclipse party on my front lawn. It will be memorable!

We haven't seen teh traffic yet but the anticipation is that 250,000 people are coming to town this weekend.

Just wow!  Nothing here but, lack of elipse glasses - we're about 2.5 hours away from the madness!

If it's any consolation, we just had the PGA Championship tournament right behind my house so, any time I left or came home for the past week, it was crazy traffic! At least you won't have it for a full week, Lynnea Miller!

Yes, it is crazy.  In fact, our office, here in Olympia, WA is moving our weekly office meeting to Tuesday just because traffic here on Monday will be nuts.  

Common Sense has died!

They showed traffic on the highway going into Wyoming, and CDOT was putting port-o-potties along the highway, just in case.   Too funny! 

That is ridiculous.

My grand kids are driving from Ohio to Nebraska to see it.

I am part of it.  Driving up north this weekend.

Lynnea most of the craziness is just 30-60 minutes north of Boise so we are not getting the brunt of it, but the small towns just north of us are. We do have freeway signage talking about it and delays. I know of one town just northwest 45 minutes or so that has a 5 day festival going on and declared a state of emergency for the aftermath and cleanup. I hope everyone stays safe. -Kasey
