      School buses in the way, school zones to slow down in; it's already happening here.  Have to plan my driving around it.

Oddly school starts in early August here. When I first moved here it seemed far too early but now it's normal.

I'd like a couple of more weeks quite honestly... It's nice having us ALL home. 

Don't care, no kids, doesn't impact me aside from a smidge of traffic twice a day.

I haven't had to worry about schools in decades. Our youngest grandchild graduated from high school in May and all of our grandchildren grew up thousands of miles away from us.

Here it starts AUG 24th in Loudoun and AUG 28th in Fairfax. Nothing much changes except i have to plan to not get stuck behind school buses.

Our kids go back in a couple weeks here in CT. My wife was out shopping for school supplies today. 

Pros and cons depending on whether you have kids, don't have kids or work in a school district or any other reason.  Kids are usually happy to be back with friends and new teacher.

Most of our schools started last week, still seems too early.

Most LAUSD schools are already on so more traffic for sure, our school is on next week and it has much better schedule than regular schools. 

I have mixed feelings.  All my kids are grown, my grand babies are in elementary school. I do remember being happy as school started when my kids were home!  All my babies are excited for Monday to arrive. 

I am always willing to go back for the nap time.

I know my grand kids are not yet.
