Gosh! I bet everyone is buying the lifetime pass now, it's such a big hike!

Kevin I've heard about this and think it's great.  $10 buck for lifetime is a good deal for those that go around to the parks.

What will I do? You have to say that is a whopping increase. Do they give a reason why it increased 700%? New ranger hats? New socks for the ranger? Anything like that?

Unfortunately, I am not old enough to take advantage of this!

Back when a homes on the beach in Malibu couldn't get sold because no one wanted them and they cost a couple hundred thousand, instead of the millions today...

Depends on what one considers a "sweet" deal. Have never been to a National Park even once in my life and if I get to one at this late stage, I'm fine not having a lifetime pass. I'll just pay the entry fee.

I am not eligible for the lifetime pass, which is a STEAL at $10 but still a fantastic deal at $80 which is what we just payed for an annual pass - we just hit Yellowstone, Devil's Tower, Mount Rushmore, The Badlands and Dinosaur National Monument with it within the last two weeks.  -Kasey

This is a great deal and my husband and I have saved hundreds of dollars on admissions since we purchased ours a few years ago.
