Amazing how wall street creates value and companies have no profit!

A lot of times though, much-hyped stocks take off like a rocket and then sink like the Titanic. It remains to be seen how much steak is behind that sizzle.

I knew about the bell ringing on Wall Street this morning...for whom it tolls remains to be seen(or heard).

Interesting.  They are making a presence in my market now.  Took them a while.

Why should I care?

stock market was never my focus....only buying real estate.... one more house to sell and then I'll no investment property.... just the roof over my head!!  that's all I want.

I did know this thanks to Jon Kolsky post that he wrote today.

I suspect that the shine will fade and the price will mellow soon.

Had no idea. Then again IPO are often sold at ridiculous prices.

I wouldn't put "any stock in Redfin's model".

I saw that come acoss my feed. I am not in the market to buy.

Thats what is going on with all these...They want to make their killing and cash-out. 

It is a stock that I would also sell quickly. I am not a long term believer.

Whatever is going on, the real estate brokerage model is changing and will never be the same. Better or worse for end-consumers? We don't know yet. Better or worse for Realtors? It will be better for some Realtors, worse for others.

Better or worse for real estate litigation attorneys? Better for them. The number of unrepresented end-consumers or poorly represented end-consumers will increase, causing transactions to crash before or after closing, causing more litigation.

I got my first call here in NH. Don't tell the investors, but consumers LOVE good service, this is not fast food. 

It will be interesting to watch how they do on the public market.

That bell will not be tolling for me.  Not what I would invest in.

I'm not a fan of the company, so no good wishes from me. But every business needs to do what they need to do to make money. Things will never be the same. 

Many speculators hoping for a quick buck.  Soe will find it.

All I worry about is today, my Altria stock took nearly a 10% DIVE!!  Glad I'm not cashing out anytime soon!

I don't watch Redfin's stock.

Took off like a rocket, but will that rocket go like the Space Shuttle (not Challenger), or will it crash and burn like one of little kimmy's "nuclear warheads."

It will take a nosedive once investors realize they have bought a dead horse that doesn't post any profits

That normal for the first hour for most companies.
