We are doing over 55 age declared communities but not assisted living or nursing care. We do make agreements with nursing outsourcing however.

Yes, they are jumping up all over the place. Any larger piece of land is now being turned into one. I have toured a few facilities & I love them all. 

I have not seen any here which is surprising as we have a lot of retirees and elderly people in our area.

With inventory shortages this may be a good time for people to sell their single family homes and move into senior housing.

I did meet with a new one in my area where they asked us to list and market, in the end they had their own people that would also and my marketing would bring people there and i could lose them if they popped in without calling or registering with me.

I had calls like this years ago, before they were very popular, but never did get one sold.

I am not however I know another Rainer who is.  There is a big need and draw for these communities.

The ones here in San Diego that I'm aware of do not cooperate; they are internal sales/leasing offices.

      We have assisted living facilities all over Florida.  I am not aware of any commission opportunity, brokerage represenation, etc.  

The ones we have are purely on a month to month rental basis. I do look for that to change.

There is one complex n my area but the do all sales in house.

Dorie I have not sold one for many years. But I am seeing a few pop up in very nice areas.  We chose a RCF for a dear friend of ours that needed assisted living a few years back. She had the master suite and could play in the backyard garden whenever she wanted - perfect setting for her needs.

Yes, we do have them here, Dorie Dillard but, all of them are very much like new development - they have their own sales 'representative.' We've been exploring them for my mother-in-law of recent and one of my clients is doing quite well, working with one of them too.

There are a couple listed out here.  Potential for good money, especially if you make them into half-way houses/rehab centers.

We have retirement homes and assisted living facilities, but none where an agent could represent a buyer.

No... not aware of any such facilities in my area where I could represent a buyer.

Elder care seems to be such a hot topic right now with all the Baby Boomers hitting this age.  I will have to look into this.
