I just read the article and I think sellers will like it. It will have the same problem with automated valuation systems and agents will have to explain why Lending Tree doesn't know the real market value of their home and will also have to explain why their equity isn't as much as they think after 6-8% selling/closing costs. But, as a tool for consumers, I think they will like it and as a lead generator for lenders I think it will get the leads for refinancing or future buys. It is a whole new world that keeps on changing and we all need to keep up with the times and technology. -Kasey

Roy Kelley I don't know how it stacks up, but from a consumer standpoint they may lend more credibility to their values because they are associated with lenders. Zillow sucks in real estate agents to buy leads and Lending Tree will suck in lenders to buy leads.
