I typically look at more than the subject line before delving deeper into an email. And like Tony and Suzanne Marriott, Associate Brokers I think #3 is a terrific option!

I am very select and rarely click on a link from someone I don't know. If it has a funny extension I never click on it. I have no curiosity unless the subject is something that I am looking for or pertains to a deal I am working.

My curiosity often depends on how busy I am at the moment, #3 may get opened first, or possibly #4.

The best spammers are the ones who know how to get my name into the subject line, so those are the lowest on my priority list.

But with the bizillian emails I get in a week few get opened with any of these titles.

I would not open ANY of the above, because there is so much 'hacking' going on, that even realtors that you may know, meaning the message can look totally legit, may have been hacked (and they might not yet know it) Annette Lawrence , Palm Harbor, FL 727-420-4041.  I would send a message myself, to that person, if I knew them, and ask if they had sent me a message.  Some messages are just too funny, while others look real . . .

I'm lucky because my company uses a branded form of Gmail for our email.  Gmail has a great spam filter, so chances are, 1-5 wouldn't even show up in my inbox.  My work email received 9 legitimate emails today and 17 that went into the spam folder.  The spam filter is so good that I rarely check my spam folder--it's all junk in there.
